Everyone Loves "Pi"

Ah, the “Life of Pi.” What a sweetly told story full of imagery and imagination. Soothing colors and music. Tragedy and triumph of the human spirit. Even a search for God. But wait! To a Bible-literate Christian, a sad and incomplete narrative about Pi's belief in a God who does not tell us the truth.

I can over-look his fault. But I cannot say I can overlook how the movie failed to have much of an impact on my emotions. It was ok. Not great.

Think that point doesn’t matter? You may be the person who came away from the movie saying to yourself, "what a cool movie! I love Pi! He was inspirational!" I wouldn't disagree with any of that. I love him too. That part about God? Even President Obama noticed. He wrote a letter to the author telling him how wonderful his views were. If God tells you a story about Himself and you do not believe it, He will tell another one. Poppy cock! Pi's father said it best. "Believing in everything is the same as believing in nothing."

As a Bible literate person I can tell you that God hates mixture. He does not like anything that dilutes truth.

Why is this so important to an all-loving God? We will get to that later.

What if God, in all his infinite patience with man, once allowed us to believe everything as well as nothing. But now demands that everyone everywhere take notice of what he has provided for our salvation from wrath to come.

What if what we believe does not move God. What if what He has shown us as an ultimate truth is all that matters. Where does that put us? Can we challenge his justice if we fail to find the truth?

Not hardly. As judge He will demand from us not only what we have chosen to ignore or dismiss, but what we have failed to believe.

Something so simple that we cannot possibly misunderstand His justice.

In the story, Pi is dared to drink the holy water in a Catholic church. The Catholic priest takes the opportunity to present God to the young man but fails to present the whole truth. The reason is because he doesn’t know. Catholics everywhere missed out on the reformation and therefore ignore the contribution of the Jewish relationship to God. By failing to believe that the Bible is the only inspired word of God and replacing it with tradition and religion, they have removed the context of the story as to why it is important to believe in Jesus as a suffering savior who also conquered death for us all (a point the priest misses in his explanation to Pi).

The world is unraveling around us. Sad for anyone who does not recognize it. And the unraveling will grow in intensity and frequency.

Salvation? Provided through the life of Christ Jesus and in His name only. Oh, and God said that. Not Allah, not Buddha, not Krishna, not Vishnu. No other name. He made the rule and demands we believe His truth. Not what we want to believe. In His court of justice, we do not have a leg to stand on.

Wake up world. You are owned by God and He is reaching out to bring you into His world. The narrative is clear to a bible literate.

Jesus is the only truth. Open your mind and heart to Him today. Search Him out and you will find Him.

Zombie Apocalypse

Soooo it's been a busy couple month in the news. Everything from Obama killing Osama (really? no other president would have ordered the attack?) to the zombie apocalypse and the end of the world (er, tomorrow). What is interesting to me from my point of view is the small nuggets of truth used to mislead or set-up the uninitiated (i.e. the bible illiterate) to become a player in the coming tragedy of the end times.

As a Christian and a student of the bible, I know as others know that God has a plan for the people of the earth. The earth will not last forever in it's current state. A shock for those who ignore God's word but a comfort for those who look to Him for their future and hope.

The way that end will come about is spelled out for us in a series of prophetic declarations mixed with hope for salvation. After all, what good is knowing your world is going to end without some hope of escaping it? But the day and hour of that end is a big mystery a bit like a puzzle when you first take it out of the box. How all the pieces of the puzzle come together is still being revealed.

For example. God has always used His people (those who seek Him through relationship) to proclaim what will be. I believe in visions. There are many visions out there on the web, some are false and unbiblical and some are in right alignment with scripture. The ones I am talking about meet all the qualifications of a vision from God (which the bible itself points out).

Ok, so just take the end of the world. No, you can't know the exact day. It won't be tomorrow. Sorry for those who wanted to be debt free tomorrow. Doesn't meet the test from the bible. It contradicts what Jesus Himself said.

Now, what about the zombie apocalypse? Just harmless fun? I don't see it quite like that. For one thing it is not what our relationship with a kind, loving God calls for. Not the way He would have us enjoy life. But the other side of that coin is the "spirit" behind the whole thing. What prophets of God have seen of the end when God "catches up" His people in order to begin the next phase of the earths history, is that physical death will be gone. Yes, the bible says that in Revelations (look it up for yourself if you don't believe me). So "death will flee." Sound good? Not really. Injury will not flee. People can still be horribly injured...but this time, they won't die. Why? You can't sneak into heaven that way. But injured people will probably appear grotesque. And I would imagine that people with guns will think they are zombies and try to finish them off. But they won't be able to. Their spirits will be trapped and bound to whatever heap of flesh or ash is left. Sad. Mislead. People without hope. People with no God.

From there, the rest of the story plays out. You don't have to take my word for it. It's in the book.

Fight the good fight!

People Problem

There's a "people problem" in this country. Always has been, always will be. How do you boil it down to something that can be grasped for all its complexity? After all, there are so many cultures, ideas and mixes in our nation that there is bound to be a dilution of American values and ideals. Even flag-waving, gun-loving 'God and country Americans' can't escape the problem:

People have forgotten their God.

I heard a rocker on one of the most watched (according to ratings) TV opinion shows. While spouting his "American" slogans like apple pie, he was denouncing "bible thumping Christians." Almost nothing shocks me anymore but that kinda did. If it wasn't for the bible, you wouldn't have a gun-loving country, you silly twit!

Americans have forgotten their God.

They put material things first. Their selfish pride a close second and any non-English speaking foreigner third.

Let's be vigilant as we take our country back. It needs to come all the way back. To biblical values. Throw God out of your life and you have hardships and trouble. Throw Him out of your country and others will come in and claim it for themselves.

Keep God in your family and you will still have troubles...but you will overcome them. And it isn't by your own strength or might. No, just like this country, we overcome by the Spirit of the Living God...Jesus the Christ, the Word of God and our only Savior.

Fight the "good" fight,

Thank You Barack

We should all be thanking President Obama for showing his true motives on issues ranging from for the union fight in Wisconsin, the so-called Obamacare "opt out" ruse and foreign policy debacles. People are listening to what he is really saying. He may have the "dumb" vote (including the major network media) and the collectivist revolutionary vote but the majority of the nation has awakened to his agenda and poised to replace him.

I was actually amused to learn that Obama's reelection machine had been involved in busing demonstrators to Wisconsin. It shows what we have known all along...that there are simply too few left wing collectivist revolutionaries to go around. They have to be flown or bused in. I was encouraged that they were expending their resources to stay for long periods of time. They cannot go out and generate more cash because they are going to need it to defend the Socialist of the White House. They will fail and once again fall into the trash heap of history where those who have gone before them lay. The radical left is relegated to obscurity and subservience.

If you know your bible you will understand the concept that children of Ham must always serve children of Japheth and Shem. I'll leave the uninitiated, biblical illiterate reader to search that out for themselves. Or sit, scratch your head and vote for Obama in 2012 and let the rest of us take responsibility for setting things right. There are more for us than for you.

Fight the good fight!

Obama: Go To Sleep

Ok, I made my prediction. And while I couldn't bear to watch Obama give another speech, I did read the transcript and watched a few clips on the news. The speech was good. I don't believe he wrote it, but it was what it should have been. So just because the president did the right thing today, you can't expect him to do the right thing tomorrow. I say that because of what he has done. He has shown that we can project upon him whatever he needs us to be for the moment. And we have all needed him to be compassionate. He needed to make us believe that he is one of us, because we all know the election is 2 years away. I'm not just being cynical, this is what Obama himself has said about Americans. We project upon him. He shows us a blank slate. It's in his book, "Dreams From My Father."

Tomorrow, he will change his tone and widen the debate on free speech as he quietly lulls the country into a false sense of security that he really cares about Americans and our heritage. Meanwhile, he will work to register and catalog internet users because he is all about control.

The President used a scripture, something he rarely attempts. His lack of scriptural use leads me to believe it is not in his heart. I am sure he has never read the entire New Testament. It is simple to pull out a topical bible and pull some scriptures out that have to do with whatever you are dealing with at the moment. It is more difficult to expound on them. He begins by a quote from Psalm 46:4. But what does this mean? So God tells us there is a river. What does that say to us this moment? Sure, we can imply the meaning. And obviously the quote from Job means what it says. But what does it say to you, Mr. President? Will we ever know what our president really thinks about scripture? Does he really believe that "all scripture is given by inspiration and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness?" or does he believe that Mohammad was a prophet too? We have to hear the fruit of your lips, Mr. President. While God is judge, we are fruit inspectors.

It would really be something if politicians went ahead and threw out conventional wisdom and quoted a few scriptures from time to time. And not just quote them, but tell us how it spoke to them personally. The Word of God can lay open and bare the hardest of hearts. Tell us who you really are Mr. President, or let us discern it through your actions. Your actions have been, apologizing for America to the Islamic world, piling on national debt, ruining our currency, expanding government control and playing to the unions. He has created and economic mess so huge it would take a miracle to get out of it.

But let's not count God out of an economic miracle for this country. He's done it before. God sheds His grace on America. While we all work to fix the mess, He pulls it together in such a way that we come out more exceptional and stronger than ever before. After 21% inflation and Jimmy Carter, He gave us Ronald Reagan. He can give us a financial recovery that ushers in a huge boom for the country and put to shame the Socialists who have come out of their holes to gloat at the death of Capitalism and Conservatism.

God blesses America. It's not just a catch-phrase. Just watch.

Fight the good fight.

Will Obama Politicize the Arizona Shooting?

Count on it.

Obama's interests are served by hateful rhetoric from his left-wing base. The right thing to do of course, is to reassure the nation that this incident was the act of a single mad man acting alone. He should say political discourse is necessary as a way to diffuse and vent disagreements in a peaceful way and that there is no evidence that radio or television is to blame for the tragic events last Saturday. No, the right thing to understand is that the man is to blame and justice will be served.

But don't count on Obama to say that today when he visits the state for a memorial service. We know who he is. He wants conservatives silenced because it is the only group of people he can't figure out. He can't beat us. He can't intimidate us. He can't fool us. Without his own militia he can't stop us. But he thinks he can take advantage of this incident in Arizona and encourage laws that limit free speech. He thinks he can direct the FCC to police free speech. He will try. But he won't succeed. There are too many good people who are true Americans and stand for freedom and liberty to let that happen.

Lady Liberty Speaks

REP. MICHELE BACHMANN: The Dawn of a New Congress

By Rep. Michele Bachmann

On November 2, 2010 the American people voted to usher in a new Congress and a new way of doing business in Washington. Under Nancy Pelosi’s Speakership the Republican minority and the American people witnessed Democrats pushing through devastating changes that affected Wall Street and Main Street. -- We saw the debt grow from $8.67 trillion to almost $14 trillion. Bills were introduced in the dark of night without the transparency that was promised.

Now a new majority is taking the reins and it’s time for action. We need to rollback Pelosi’s furthest-reaching legislation, staring with a vote next week to repeal Obamacare and its 2,000 pages of loopholes and legalese.
I will introduce a repeal of the Dodd-Frank financial reform bill, which was another expansion of the federal government beyond its jurisdictional boundaries. -- It puts a wealth of control in the hands of regulators. Democrats unwisely allowed bureaucrats to become the interpreters and enforcers of the convoluted law.

The 112th Congress must lead with three main sentiments the American people have been emphasizing: One, don’t spend more than we take in; two, we’re taxed enough already; and three, Congress must adhere to the Constitution.
The Republican majority has a great opportunity to demonstrate true fiscal responsibility over the coming months as we present a new budget. Cutting member office budgets by 5% and requiring new legislation to have a “cut-as-we-go” offset is a good start. But more drastic measures will be required.

The American people see too much of their own money going to Uncle Sam. That's why I am introducing the End Tax Uncertainty Act of 2011. My bill will permanently extend current tax rates for all Americans, repeal the death tax and gift tax, and prevent a tax increase on the maximum tax rate for capital gains and dividends income for all. It will also reduce the corporate tax rate to twenty-five percent. With Japan’s announced decrease in their corporate tax rate, the U.S. will soon have the highest corporate tax rate soon if Congress doesn’t act.

It’s also time to renew our commitment to the Constitution that we are swearing today to support and defend. Like sports teams who practice their trade, so should members of Congress regularly learn about our founding documents. I will be hosting Constitutional Seminars, featuring the teachings of legal scholars like Justice Antonin Scalia. I’m inviting all members to attend, both Republicans and Democrats.

I’m also inviting my colleagues to join the Tea Party Caucus, which I formed last summer to listen to the voices of the American people. The American people elected us to represent them and we must continue to listen and truly value what they say.

The 112th Congress will be dramatically different than the preceding Congress and I have great hope it will pass legislation to undo the monstrosities produced under Nancy Pelosi. The Republican majority has much work to do, but if it continues to listen to the American people, cuts spending, taxes less, and renews our focus on the Constitution, this Congress can bring real change to Washington.

Republican Michele Bachmann represents Minnesota's 6th District in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Progressives Openly Calling for Unrest

If anyone has ever doubted the liberal agenda then look no further than the truth...

Remember, Van Jones was once part of the Obama administration until he was exposed and became a political liability. Democrats have lost their party to those who want to overthrow the government, the constitution and our way of life. Voting fools have given them the power to nearly accomplish that goal. Obama reminds me of the old Soviet bosses during the cold war. They would say one thing but always do another. Where do you think he got his play book? While I was in the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Soviet bosses were always using propaganda to hide their real intentions. It was shocking to me as a 21 year old intelligence specialist that our media (ABC, NBC, CBS and major newspapers in the U.S.) picked up on the rhetoric and spread it around. My, how that cancer of thought has grown since 1978 when I first moved to Washington. The helpful idiots are those who don't really care and vote on a slogan such as, "tax the rich," or "stop global warming," or "support gay marriage," or now it's "open amnesty for 'undocumented' aliens."  Any vehicle to get votes is how they play you. They don't really care about these issues. They will take any extreme of the apathetic masses and push their buttons for votes. The Soviets would tell people in countries where they wanted to invade, "capitalism is your problem."

Keep up the good fight, exposing their deeds and bringing them to light is the only way to slow them down.

Where Progressives Fail in Diplomacy

Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez dealt another blow to progressive thought this week when he rejected the U.S. Ambassador to his country. If the Obama administration really wanted to appease Chavez, they could have tried sending a socialist with anti-American tendencies, oh, like Van Jones. But since he's been exposed as a revolutionary who wants to overthrow the American constitution, they can't use him. Pity Obama has too few who can do the job. Too few who are his type of progressive thinkers. It's that damn Fox News. Always spreading lies about his administration when all they really want to do is progress beyond Capitalism to a more centralized government. Sigh. There aren't enough people in America who hate their country's history and who know the history of collectivist failure.

Obama had hoped that Chavez would embrace his anti-imperialist view and see him as an ally and friend. But for Chavez to do so would be to diminish his own power and remove a major purpose for his dictatorship.

Where progressives have failed in appeasement is to believe that dictators will follow suit and suddenly realize we are their friends. That sort of thinking failed with Hitler. It fails with North Korea and it will continue to fail with every other despot that raises its ugly head in the world. It's enough to make a conservative say, "duh."

We have two more years of watching a novice try to run the country with his incorrect ideology. Expect more failures like this in 2011. Poor Obama fails at history. You can re-write it and re-interpret history, but you can't change it. So much for his idea. Let's look ahead. I wonder what the Tea Party is doing?

Fight the good fight,

A Belated Merry Christmas!

Took the time off the computer to spend with my family. The girls were wonderful and my son has been basking in the attention. He sees so little of the two oldest that he enjoyed playing video games, playing with his kitty and just hanging out with them. Rachel and Beth love him to pieces so it was mutual admiration time. Paige loved her new "Sock Monkey" pajamas so much she spent the entire day in them. Pretty funny for a 20 year old. Robin and I just enjoyed having our own around us. No fighting or fussing. So peaceful. Such a wonderful gift.

Christmas at our house isn't about gifts. Sure, we had a few but the real gift was being together. And that is really what Robin and I have wanted from the beginning of our marriage. We watched "White Christmas" and "Christmas Story"and laughed just like it was the first time we'd seen them.

We are so blessed to be able to retreat to our little kingdom of home. We play together, pray together and best of all, love each other. There were plenty of hugs, kisses and expressions of "I love you" to go around. Our hearts are warm and full.

All because our Jesus first loved us.

Keep the faith,

Ginger Littleton Is My Hero

Ginger Littleton was until yesterday, a nobody. She sat on a school board in Panama City, Fla., attending to local business. She probably never in her life faced anyone as threatening as she did yesterday. A gunman burst into a meeting where she was participating and brandished a gun at the board, ordering all the women to leave the room. Ginger knew this would not end well.

Conviction spoke to her as she walked out a side door. She quickly pondered what might happen to her fellow board members. She could walk away to safety or try to do something that would at least make a difference. She re-entered the room where the gunman’s back was to her and hit his arm with her purse, trying in vain to disarm him. Not a very well thought out strategy. But she never faced such desperate situations before. In that moment of action, she was not thinking of herself. She was thinking of her colleagues.  Her act was selfless. Sacrificial. Yet the gunman didn’t kill her. Thank God. Moments later the gunman shot at the remaining board members and missed every one from point blank range. He was then shot and wounded by a security officer before taking his own life. No one on the school board was hurt. The superintendent, Bill Husfelt knew God protected him.

Ginger is obviously not the type of person to walk away from a fight. Even in a dangerous situation of which she had no training. Training would have told her to flee. But as she put it, “I’m not very good at taking orders from people.”

Courage manifests itself where decent people listen to their convictions and take action. I believe courage has its roots in love. And love lays down its life for someone else. Not always literally, but in some form of action. Ginger Littleton is my everyday hero. I won’t forget her name. Her inspiration gives me hope in America.

Thank God For Rich People

Thank God for Rich People

| Goldberg

I have an idea for a monument in our nation’s capital.  I envision a big bronze and granite statue that would honor an entire group of Americans who are true heroes, and unsung heroes at that.
It is time — no, make that long past time — to pay tribute to those this nation of ours owes a great debt; to those who give and give and give and in return get anything but our gratitude.
This is an idea whose time has finally come.
Right there, amongst the sacred national structures that honor great Americans, we need to build a shiny monument to … (this is where the drum roll would come in) The Rich – otherwise known in liberal circles as the filthy, no good, greedy, heartless rich.
The statue could be simple and elegant:  a smiling rich guy in a business suit holding hundred dollar bills in both hands, extended toward the blue sky.
President Obama compromises with Republicans and gives the wealthiest two percent of Americans a temporary respite from a tax hike and listening to the yelps of the  “progressives” you’d think he just tried to shut down WikiLeaks or something.  But even while he’s compromising, the president is bashing the rich, lashing out at them as “the wealthiest Americans” …   “the wealthiest 2% of Americans” …  talking about “tax cuts to millionaires and billionaires” …  and—as the Wall Street Journal noted, “channeling the French revolution—’the wealthiest estates.’”
The Left is bawling about how “we can’t afford” to give people “who don’t need it” a tax break.  This argument makes perfect sense, of course – as long as income re-distribution is a central tenet in your theology.  Never mind that liberals weren’t all that concerned about what we could afford when they passed a nearly trillion dollar stimulus package that didn’t stimulate very much or when they poured in billions of our tax dollars to bail out General Motors.  It’s only now that they’re concerned about budgets because those nasty rich folks are getting a break.  But I don’t want to pick a fight with my liberal friends over whether the wealthiest Americans “deserve” a tax break or not.  I have come simply to praise The Rich, not to bury them.
I offer a few numbers to make my case:
Did you know that the top one percent of American wage earners (adjusted gross income) pay about 38 percent of all our federal personal taxes (according to the National Taxpayer Union)?   The top one percent, by the way, account for 23.5 percent of all income — a substantial amount, yes,  but considerably less than 38 percent.
Or that the top five percent pay just under 60 percent?
Or that the top ten percent pay about 70 percent of all the personal income taxes collected in this great land of ours?
These “fat-cats” are the ones who do the heavy lifting in this country.  They’re the ones whose federal tax dollars pick up a big chunk of the tab for all sorts of noble things, such as:  food for folks who don’t have enough to eat … medicine and doctors for people with little money … financial aid to help other people’s kids go to college … milk and diapers for poor babies whose 15 year-old mothers and deadbeat fathers are too irresponsible to take care of their own kids … a safety net for old folks who are retired on fixed incomes … and on and on.
And if they “only” bank their new found savings instead of spending it all over town?  Well, that’s a plus too.  It means there would be more money out there for businesses to borrow for expansion, which probably would mean more jobs.  Or it could mean more money for new homeowners to borrow, which would also give a boost to the limp economy.
No, I’m not saying the wealthiest Americans are all a bunch of selfless philanthropists.  But try to imagine an America without those rich people.
By the way, the bottom 50 percent of tax filers pay a paltry 2.7 percent of our federal income taxes.  How many poor people do you think their tax dollars are taking care of? If you ask me, they’re the ones not paying their fair share.  Every time they pass a “rich” person on the street, they ought to say, “Thank you for everything you do me and for this country.”
For those of you not already making plans to hang me in effigy – or for real –  let me simply say this:  The richest Americans may not “need” a break on their taxes, but they sure don’t need being vilified, either.  They need our gratitude.
So let’s get busy on that shiny monument in our nation’s capital.  And let’s get some unemployed people out there building it.  It’s the least they can do for those nice rich people who have been keeping them afloat.

A Good Novel Someone Should Write

Our story begins in January, 2013. The Republicans could not decide who the real "base" of support for their candidate was and sent Sara Palin to the race. Tea Party support could not capture the Latino vote and she is narrowly defeated by Hillary Clinton, the only real contender for Obama's failed presidency. The puzzling thing is that Hillary joined the race only reluctantly after much prodding from supporters and assurances that the new Social Democratic Progressive party would close ranks around her (The name changed before the primary, to breathe new life into the now openly bold anti-capitalist movement).

She looked strangely nervous at the swearing-in ceremony on the steps of the Capital. Her hesitation in subsequent press conferences is tentative. But everyone in the leftist media writes off the timidity as nerves and lovingly welcomes her into history as the first woman President.

Then things begin to unravel. There is an unexplained murder in the nation's capital one blustery spring day in 2013. Not unusual in itself in this town but it is the victim that is makes the case so strange. A former White House aide.

Few recall the box of FBI dossiers found in the Bill Clinton White House table. Left out in the open, the mystery was never officially solved as to what it was doing there and who carelessly left it there.

Now it comes out that the aide who was murdered was about to "go rogue" and tell the media about how Hillary ordered the leaked State Department cables to Wikileaks and then pretended to be on official business during the Nov primaries of 2010. Barely anyone took notice at her announcement that she would be leaving government service after her stint as Secretary of State. Strange timing. And made on the road.

Finally, the truth about the FBI dossiers comes out. It was Hillary looking for dirt on her political enemies. She carelessly left the box out after she and Bill had an argument about the way she was going about things. She had gone too far for Bill. After all, he wanted everyone to like him. Hillary had spent decades getting him elected and she felt he just wasn't doing enough to wield his power.

Then when Eric Holder drops a hint about leaking documents to reduce the United States in the eyes of its neighbors and "level the diplomatic playing field," she gets nervous at the response. The country was outraged and looking for heads to roll. She knew it would eventually lead directly to her.

Someone had to stop the aide that planned on squealing. She didn't want to know how but it must be done. But murder from above is tough in a free society and someone always finds out.

Dems Favorite Movie Character = Robin Hood

Democrats are dumber than a bag of hammers.

They want to take from the rich and give to the poor. But I know their real agenda...they want to take from the rich and give to themselves! Duh! Too bad our free society foils their efforts. But they keep getting closer. I'm for a constitutional amendment that makes it harder for socialism to take root. I dunno, maybe some wording that simply states that America was founded on principles of individual capitalism. That "taking" money through taxation or government fiat is unAmerican.

Ok lawmakers, go see what you can do to protect individual rights to property (yes, money is property) and come up with some real legislation.

Not kidding here.

Fight the good fight,

Ronald

Somebody Needs To Kick His Arrogant Arse!

Hrump! As far as I could tell, there wasn't a fighter among them. I'm referring to Republicans. Anybody ever get into a bare knuckle fight? Anyone ever serve our great nation's military? Nope. None. Nada.

Sorry, I like Cantor and Boehner but neither one know how to go into a fight. Probably never went into a ring with anyone with the intention of beating their brains or kicking someone's ass.

We need leaders that know how to do that. Why? Because the current President needs his ass kicked. In fact, he's asking for it. How dare that arrogant so and so weaken the freedoms of the American people and take it upon himself to bow before foreign leaders and diminish our standing in the world? How dare he destroy the American people's confidence in their government, health care system and currency?

Come on! Somebody kick this guy's ass! Can't anyone knock him off his game?

Kicking ass is a very biblical thing to do. Yes, there are times when we need to turn the other cheek and there are also times when you need to be the one who is making your opponent turn his cheek. This is one of those times.

Here's what I wish Republicans would say:

"Hey Mr. Obama, you know that really doesn't help our cause if after our cordial meeting you come out to the microphone and start preaching partisan politics. You sounded like you were getting ready to blame us for the mess you got yourself into! Well, I don't appreciate that and we're not going to take that kind of talking behind our back without some talk of our own. You know, the American people would really be interested to know how little you think of them."

"Don't forget that you are the one who thinks the rich don't pay enough. They pay 46% of all taxes now! How much is enough?"

You get the idea.

Somebody get in there and fight!

Deception Game

Obama will start his meetings with House Republicans in a conciliatory tone. He will make a statement describing how everyone must work together to do the right thing. But there will be a slippery catch: everyone has to work together except him. He will be more passionate about the START treaty than the tax rates. He will not give into the notion that all the tax rates should be extended. Boehner will have to remind the Comrade President that Republicans still do not control the House. The President's body language will show his disgust with such obviously inferior creatures and the meeting will end with a stalemate. Obama will make a phone call to comrade Pelosi to tie the tax rates to the START treaty in some way. After all, it was her idea.

Republicans will push for full extension of tax rates for 2 years. They will insist on separating the treaty with the tax rates. Democrats, fearing retribution like the one on bloody Tuesday, will reluctantly sign on. Pelosi will privately threaten every colleague comrade with expletives too foul for a real lady's mouth. But we are not dealing with a real lady. We are dealing with a despot. The bill will pass the House and Senate. Obama will have to veto it. American businesses will find themselves in a slump.

Fast forward to January. The Republican controlled House will introduce new legislation making permanent all the tax rates for every income bracket. Obama will harden his stance. The country will suffer. Obama's global vision will have to come to fruition in smaller increments. But his plan to weaken America is losing traction and he is running out of time. His cronies are being exposed. And Congressional hearings begin to point back to him. He is on the defensive by spring of 2011 and we see him go back into full-time campaign mode. After all, its what he does best. Deception game.

America is Protected

The resilience of America and the American people is nothing short of miraculous.

Our country is on the precipice of a totalitarian revolution and the American people are standing against the forces within our own government seeking to secretly bring about violent change. The people are doing it by exposing the traps set by Soros and Obama’s shadow government takeover of health care, airport security and the attempt to collapse the currency. The American people are not running to the ranks of the union army. There are enough union members now who are saying “stop,” to the leaders who wield power as if they were in control. But they are not in control. God Almighty is.

God does not stand by when his people are in trouble. He will protect us from catastrophic harm. All Soros and Obama need is a crisis to spring their plan into action. But they lack support. There is too few of them and too many of us. They lack an army and we refuse to give them one. They require chaos and we are in order. They need bricks of conformity and we are lively stones that cannot be mortared together by their totalitarian agenda.

They thought we were sheep that did not understand reality. They mistook our peace for ignorance. But they are wrong. America will not fall to internal revolution by a totalitarian minded President; a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Americans are not fooled by his pretense. The mask is being removed. And soon Obama will be removed with it. In 2012 a new President will be elected and the progressive agenda will have failed. It will have to regroup and plan for another day.

Meanwhile, I propose that we make a few changes in Washington. Number one, congress should pass a law making it unlawful for our President to be without military service. Our great country’s military is too large, too complex for an amateur. He or she must have experienced the discipline and sacrifice of service. That will prevent future Obama’s from going from community organizers (kitchen table revolutionaries) to small junior Senator offices to the greatest responsibility in the world.

Second, I propose that George Soros stand trial for his attempt to overthrow the government of the United States of America. America is exceptional and we as a country should not allow a single wealthy man to fund a revolution against us. His assets should be seized and his organizations taken apart.

Third, I propose that Congress pass a flat-tax. We should dispense with payroll, corporate and personal income tax. We should tackle Social Security; this sacred cow of centralized planners should be privatized. It should be split up among the states.

The list can go on and on…entire government agencies should be privatized or abolished. The central bank should go back on a gold standard. Stocks trade in multiples of value, why not the dollar?

America is a land of ideas, innovation and growth. America is strength. America is free and we can keep it that way if we will but preserve our institutions that created America.

Fight the good fight!

Roger Ailes Lets Rip

In the media world, as in politics, having a high-profile target can be a very good thing.

The age of Obama has provided a ratings boost for Fox News as its loudest personalities have relished the opportunity to play offense. Critics, of course, view Fox as an unabashed cheerleader for the Republican Party, an evil media empire spewing propaganda and misinformation at a gullible audience.

But Roger Ailes says his network is just reflecting reality when it comes to the White House.

“The president has not been very successful,” the Fox News chairman says in a lengthy interview. “He just got kicked from Mumbai to South Korea, and he came home and attacked Republicans for it. He had to be told by the French and the Germans that his socialism was too far left for them to deal with.”

The 70-year-old Ailes, dressed in a lavender shirt and tie, goes on in this vein, saying the network isn’t singling out Obama for criticism but that its style “tends to be more direct” in challenging presidents. Then he offers this observation about Obama:

“He just has a different belief system than most Americans.”

That seems a rather loaded phrase—different belief system—even if you strongly disagree with most of Obama’s policies. It fits the view of those who are trying to paint the president as being outside the mainstream. But from the big second-floor office at Fox’s Midtown Manhattan headquarters, it’s the rest of the media that are using a distorted lens.

“He’s had 3,000 press secretaries since he got into office,” Ailes says of Obama, but these days, “he’s making it harder for the press to make him look good… When the press falls in love, they fall in love hard. They’re like teenagers in love. It’s like the old Frankie Lymon song, ‘Why Do Fools Fall in Love?’”

Article - Kurtz Roger Ailes

Ailes brushes aside suggestions that journalists have been much harder on the president as his sliding popularity has led to a Republican takeover of the House. He is far more sympathetic to Obama’s predecessor:

“This poor guy, sitting down on his ranch clearing brush, gained a lot of respect for keeping his mouth shut. I literally never heard an Obama speech that didn’t blame Bush.”

Obama “had to be told by the French and the Germans that his socialism was too far left for them to deal with.”

None of this is personal, you understand. Ailes says he likes Obama, who was gracious to him during last year’s Christmas party, and David Axelrod and Valerie Jarrett. He recently had breakfast with Axelrod to discuss Fox’s coverage. But Ailes took an unprovoked swipe at Robert Gibbs, saying the press secretary “is a little big for his britches” and “will end up like that little shithead who worked for Bush”—meaning Scott McClellan, the onetime loyalist who wrote a book criticizing his former boss. Gibbs and the White House declined to respond.

Fox was the favorite network of the Bush White House, the default channel on its television sets and the go-to guys for big interviews. The Obama White House, by contrast, declared rhetorical war on the network last year and rarely provides top officials as guests.

The steady barrage of criticism from the opinion folks, led by Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity, has lifted Fox’s ratings, although Ailes says he sees no connection. Fox’s is averaging 1.1 million viewers this year, an 8 percent jump in Nielsen numbers over 2008, while CNN has dropped 37 percent and MSNBC 15 percent. Unlike two years ago, Fox is averaging more viewers than its two cable rivals combined.

Sipping coffee from a “Fair & Balanced” mug, Ailes insists that his channel lives up to the logo in its treatment of the administration. “We are not interested in savaging them. We are interested in the truth. We’re interested in two points of view; most networks aren’t.” Fox has beaten the drums on some stories that the mainstream media have wound up following, such as allegations that led to the resignation of environmental aide Van Jones, and others—such as a voter-intimidation case involving two New Black Panther Party members—that are widely viewed as overblown.

Ailes may dismiss the constant carping about Fox, but he understands the importance of public perception. He says he was “totally surprised” when his parent company, News Corp., donated $1 million to the Republican Governors Association and another $1 million to the Chamber of Commerce—and realized that “lefties would use it to immediately try to damage Fox News.”

But Ailes registered no protest. “Rupert Murdoch’s worked for 60 years,” he says. “He’s the biggest media mogul in the world. I don’t think anyone can tell him what to do with his money. That’s sort of his right.”
In a conversation about the donations, Ailes recalls, Murdoch told him: “I hope that didn’t cause you any problems.”

“Nothing we can’t handle,” Ailes replied.

It’s no accident that Fox, which delights in skewering MSNBC, barely mentioned Keith Olbermann’s recent suspension for donating to three Democratic candidates. Ailes had sent word to the troops that it wasn’t much of a story.

“If they went to get the guy, they were going about it fairly stupidly,” Ailes says. “It isn’t like we don’t know the guy supports left-wingers.”

Ailes says he bars his hard-news journalists from making political contributions, but merely discourages the practice for commentators and talk-show hosts. It can “disrupt the appearance of integrity. You have a responsibility not to make your colleagues look like a horse’s ass.”

He draws the line at donating to a candidate while also putting that person on the air, as Olbermann did in the case of Arizona Congressman Raul Grijalva. But Hannity did the same thing in giving $5,000 to Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann and also interviewing her on his program.

Ailes doesn’t defend the move, saying only: “I don’t think there’s any doubt about what Sean Hannity is.” Last April, an obviously annoyed Ailes ordered Hannity to cancel a show at a Cincinnati Tea Party event for which the organizers were charging admission.

The Fox chief offers a more spirited defense of Beck, who has come under sharp criticism for an attack last week on liberal activist and philanthropist George Soros.

Beck said that Soros, at age 14, accompanied a Hungarian to help him “deliver papers to the Jews, and confiscate their property, and then ship them off… Here’s a Jewish boy helping send the Jews to the death camps.” Beck added that Soros had no choice but that he didn’t understand why Soros had done no “soul searching” about his past.

Why go there? Why bring up what an 80-year-old man had to do as a teenager? Ailes says Beck relied on Soros’ own account and that “his point wasn’t really about Nazis or the Holocaust, more about the character of George Soros.” There are some “left-wing rabbis who basically don’t think that anybody can ever use word, Holocaust, on the air.”

As for Soros, “if he has a problem with Glenn Beck, he ought to man up, come on [the air] and talk to him about it,” Ailes declares. He is still fuming about Soros giving $1 million to the liberal advocacy group Media Matters to help “hold Fox News accountable for the false and misleading information they so often broadcast.”

The Anti-Defamation League assailed Beck’s remarks as “completely inappropriate and offensive.” But after Ailes spoke to its national director, Abe Foxman, the ADL executive softened his criticism in a statement calling Beck “a strong supporter of Israel and the Jewish people.”

What about Beck’s other inflammatory outbursts, such as calling Obama a racist? Ailes says that everyone who ad libs for a living makes mistakes. But admits to asking Beck to watch his tone: “He and I have had conversations and lunches where I say, ‘What the hell are you doing, man?’…Beck trashes Republicans every night. I’ve said to him, ‘Where the hell are you going to get your audience if you keep this up? You’re trashing everyone.’”

Beck takes such criticism well, Ailes explains, “because he’s so intelligent and basically sensitive.”

There’s one criticism that Ailes doesn’t want to hear. He admonished the staff after unnamed Fox journalists told me they are worried that the divisive Beck is becoming the face of the network.

“Yeah, shut up,” says Ailes. “You’re getting a paycheck. Go on the team or get off the team. Don’t run around here badmouthing a colleague.”

Morning Thoughts

Well, here it is the beginning of a new day. First thing out of bed and I’m more drowsy than usual but I manage to tell God “good morning.” I start thanking him for a new day, a warm home, wife, children, cats. Anything and everything I can think of. I like to start the day with thankfulness for what I have and give God credit for blessing me. It sets the early morning tone for the day. And why not? We should be thankful that God is watching over us and taking care of us.

I make coffee and settle into my reading chair. I’m reading Max Lucado’s “Cure For the Common Life.” My cat Sadie nestles on my legs that are stretched out on the ottoman, keeping me warm.  The book is a refreshing look at how each of us come pre-packaged with God’s gifts, talents and abilities and how we can unlock those characteristics in each of us. Sounds funny for a 53 year old man to be thinking about at this age. But why not? I’ve held many jobs over the years trying to find what the book calls, “living in your sweet spot.” I’ve often envied people that find that sweet spot early in life. Not me. I had some “junk” that had to be dealt with and my journey is just now starting to feel more and more like a life of spiritual rest.

What has been happening in my country has awakened a fight within me, however. I don’t like those who have weaseled their way into power and are trying to make America into their image (like the Fabian Society). So-called “Progressives,” are anything but. They are dangerous clouds without water, full of a tempest of deceit and deception. They believe their own lies as they try to bring down those of us who would live free in Christ.

But they will not be successful. Oh, they’ve done some damage to the country’s national standing and debt. But I know that will all change in a couple of years. But our work has only just begun. Progressives are evil. Make no mistake. Give them no benefits of doubt. They would just as soon enslave the population to government control and violence if they could achieve it. But they can’t. There is too much “salt” in this country.

So be thankful today. God is taking care of us. Ask him what you can do to be involved. Volunteer in your community. Cook. Clean. Pray. Things are turning and the day is new.

Fight the good fight!

Declarations

He thinks America has too much. He believes Americans have taken from the resources of others and added it to its own. His view of America is that it is unjust and its constitution is too individual and too damaging to less fortunate countries.

He couldn’t be more wrong.

His judgment of America is twisted and tainted with envy and jealousy because like our European ancestors, he sees America as an oppressor.

He deceived the American people. His real agenda is hidden. Americans look at him and believe he is one of us.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

He has used the ignorance of the masses to get himself elected. Even hiding behind the Democratic Party who so stupidly thought he was on their side. But he is even more extreme in his nature than they realize. The Democratic Party is in danger of losing their moderation to Socialism and it will lead to totalitarianism. They thought they could control it but conservatives knew from history that this is never possible. Still, they refused to see the truth and have been carried away by a few elect individuals who want to control and enslave Americans in a Socialist conglomeration of states.

He ignores the truth about America and seeks to take wealth from some and give it to others.

He ignores employer’s rights.

He seeks his own satisfaction and not what is good for the country.

His name is Barak Hussein Obama and he is anti-American. He has never served his country. Why has he never served in our military? Because he is not one of us. He has betrayed well-meaning and trusting Americans.

That is a fact.

He is pretending to be an American. He came out of us but he was never one of us. If he were one of us he would fight to preserve America, not change it. His heart is as his father, the anti-colonial radical. Obama honors his father, not America. Don't look for him to budge on tax rates (not cuts). Don't look for him to step aside for the good of his party in 2012. His pride will carry him on his course of self-destruction.

And there is only one power to stop him. It is the power of Christ. Jesus lives in His people and many of His people live in America. We are not without the grace of God in America. And our heavenly father will never allow his children to be enslaved by Obama or anyone else. There is a power greater than us that watches over us and will continue to protect us until we are removed out of the way.

Be sober Americans. Be vigilant. Pray. Love. Change.

Fight the good fight!

Calling All Cold War Warriors

After reviewing Glen Beck's excellent expose' on the Soros organization, it has become apparent that the forces at work within our government have reached a tipping point. Although I have casually observed “front organizations” at work in the U.S. for some time, I believed that it was impossible for the majority of the American people to be deceived in such high numbers as we are seeing today. That is due to America’s Christian roots. But after the monetizing of the Treasury Department’s debt, I knew that the government was deliberately moving the country towards a catastrophic event. Thankfully, Christian American’s are moving from inaction and standing to attention.

After the 2008 elections I expected the country to rapidly sink into the same doldrums as during the Carter administration. And it has. The difference I saw this time was that the President himself was deliberately moving the country towards weakness and globalization. I have to admit I did not see that coming. While Carter’s steerage into weakness was largely naiveté, President Obama’s course is one of cold, hard calculation. It was enough to make me sit up and take notice.

Beck has successfully publicly exposed the Soros threat. He has exposed to the public what some of us from the cold war era have perhaps known for some time: that there has always been a corrupt element of society who hides behind the Democratic Party. It was true during the Roosevelt administration and throughout the cold war. Those corrupt elements have been kept in check and it is generally accepted that in our free society they cannot be totally eradicated. Shine the light on them and you diminish their power. Like cockroaches they scamper back into the darkness.

I can easily see where Soros derives his strategy: from the very communist government he later helped to over-throw. The notion that Soros is engaging a shadow government to overthrow the United States and turn the country into part of a global collective employs exactly the same methods as what the former Soviet Union engaged in during the cold war. With a few important exceptions. Remember, it was Obama himself who publicly called for a “civilian national security force,” during the campaign trail on July 2, 2008 in Colorado Springs, CO. This statement is not without significance. Without that piece of the puzzle, the movement is doomed to failure. However, failing a violent overthrow, Obama can still do considerable harm to the future of economic stability. He will view financial disruption as a success even if he leaves office at the end of 2012.

Where Soros and Progressives misjudge the effectiveness of their shadow government is in the hearts of the American people and within the Christian population specifically. There is a powerful Christian ethos within the psyche of American Christian conservatism that is not easily broken. Obama sought to exploit it by keeping the Christian right off balance with his double-talk. If he is a Christian himself, does he accept that Mohammed was a true prophet? That question should have been posed by Rick Warren at Saddleback. That single question could have exposed Obama’s game.

Christians know that Mohammed was not a true prophet. They know by the fruit of his followers, they know by the revelations that were given in the dark and away from confirming witnesses and they know that the Quoran itself contradicts the story and message of the Bible. Islam lacks inspiration and it lacks love. The concept of forgiveness, central to the Christian message of grace, is totally absent from Islam. The principles of Christianity are what made America unique in the world. It was the force of individual’s relationship with his creator that gave Americans, strength, unity and purpose. The bond of Christ’s love holds us together. Soros’ organization does not understand that fundamental truth and therefore will fail to capture the majority of Americans in his trap.

But the numbers against Christians is increasing. And secularists power is growing and attempting to push out conservative values.

I wonder what would happen if those of us who worked in intelligence during the cold war would once again use our skills to protect our beloved homeland from internal subversive forces at work. What if we formed an intelligence community of citizens to infiltrate and disseminate our findings on un-American activities by the George Soros shadow government? Where would the trail lead? Who would it implicate?

Beck's research team provided the ground work but there is no way his staff has the resources necessary to carry out a coordinated and sustained intelligence effort against the Soros threat.

So this is an invitation to former cold war warriors! Whoever finds this and is willing to participate, let me know.

Fight the good fight!

Happy Veteran's Day!

Although I was Navy, I worked in the Department of Defense, a joint command. I loved the camaraderie and brotherhood. Many of my buddies were in the Army. Love this video. We served the greatest nation the world has ever known! God bless America!

Obama's Purpose

I've created a nice, safe bubble around me since leaving Washington, D.C. so many years ago. I wanted to find a good wife (done), get married and have a few kids (done), and wanted to just enjoy the love and non-condemning support I always wanted growing up but didn't quite get (done). I built a wall or hedge of prayer around my little family and served in a number of churches and just pursued God. And I've found Him. But our creator is so beautiful and full of wonder and since we live in a physical body and are affected by physical things around us, it is a constant pursuit to gaze into God's realm. You can't do it with your physical eyes and that's the tricky part. I've just discovered that you have to have a relationship with Him.

You wake up in the morning and tell Him you love Him. You get dressed, shower, have breakfast and read some of His words in the Bible. You think about what God has done for you through the great gift of His Son, Jesus the Christ (Anointed One). You let Him speak or impress something into you. That communion with the creator not only separates us from the animals, it carries you through the day. And since I've decided to re-join the good fight, His relationship is especially important.

Yesterday, Glen Beck's program revealed some startling facts about the puppet master, George Soros. Great piece of work! I thought he presented the facts well, it was well researched and made sense. In addition to Beck's work (the last 2 years really), I can point to Dinesh D'Souza's work in, "The Roots of Obama's Rage," which I've already mentioned in previous blogs. Thanks to Dinesh's research (revelation, really) about how Obama thinks, I can already begin to anticipate his actions in any given setting. Its kind of fun actually. The veil is off. I actually understand him now. And there is strength in that knowledge. In a nutshell and if the reader will pardon my being crass for a moment (it is called for sometimes to make a point), President Obama won the Presidency to make capitalism his "bitch." He needs the free market system to bring about his new world order. And that is where Soros comes in.

The "shadow government" that George Soros has created using our freedoms was, (he thought) brilliant. I would not go that far. I would call it "sinister," or "evil." Anytime someone thinks he has to gain control over others in order to bring about "change," he wants to be like his spiritual father, the great satan himself. Isn't that how he fell in the first place? For the biblical illiterate that precedent is found in Isaiah chapter 14, verses 12-14. Sounds like Soros said the same kind of thing (Check out www.theblaze.com).

The early Christian church experienced the same types of problems that America is facing today. That is a problem with "mixture." Liberals have mixed into all facets of society. They are in our schools, our government and by the way, even our churches. A Christian is someone who tries to live his/her life "by the book." And by that book I mean of course the Bible. It isn't the best selling book on the planet and for all time for nothing! There is something to it. The founding fathers of America knew it and many people in our country today know it. But for it to be a "living" book, it must be practiced everyday. That is where we fail and why we slip into many hurtful, liberal thinking patterns. Thinking you don't have to plug in everyday with a relationship with the creator can screw up your path and purpose in life.

The Obama's and Soros' of the world don't have to bother with that of course because they believe they know better than you or I. They believe that what they are building is going to benefit us. At least, that could be what they tell themselves. Obama is only a part of a larger work. When Soros is gone, someone else will rise and take his place. He will look different, sound different and have a slightly different way of presenting his plan but it will be the same plan. Control.

Beck believes those who are calling for an eminent "event," such as a currency collaspe. I personally, have believed (from my biblical world view) that the bible is very plain about events. In the book of Revelation it speaks of a one world currency. Back in the '70's some of my collegues at DIA laughed at me. They aren't laughing now. It is feasible in our lifetime. The book also talks about a one world governement. Not sounding too far off? Not a bad prediction for a book written 2000 years ago. As for the event that will usher in a crisis where all these puzzle pieces can come together? Read it yourself in the book (ok, chapter 15 of 1st Corinthians).

Keep fighting the good fight!

Strategy For The Next Round

I was never much interested in domestic politics. Although the topic was frequently discussed in my household growing up. The real action for me was always with the Soviets and the dirty tricks they were up to worldwide. Now, when I see those same dirty tricks being played out in my own back yard, it pisses me off. I'm referring to my own state of Colorado who just reelected Bennet for Senator and Hickenloopy (Hickenlooper) for Governor. Bad and stupid move. I don't think they will do too much damage because I don't think they are too smart, but one never knows who is pulling their strings.

I remember back in the late '70's when I was working in the Pentagon, the way the Soviet expansionists used to spread their influence. To put it simply, they would help a country with infrastructure aid, roads, hospitals, etc., while simultaneously offering military aid to dictators who were interested in keeping their power. They played upon people's lust for control. These relationships with countries like Nicaragua and Cuba would lead to often violent confrontations of dissenters. They used radio, television and print media to spread disinformation about America's intentions in the region and often just plain lie about who we are.

Well, the way we combated Soviet Communist influence was Voice of America and programs like it. The US simply broadcast both sides of the news to the populace. The communist country broadcast their version of "truth," and VOA told the real "truth." In many cases as in Cuba for example, radio would be jammed so that Cubans couldn't hear the broadcasts. The truth is a powerful weapon. Today, Fox News has taken the position of presenting the truth about what both sides say about a topic. Their commentators and pundits then give their Judeo/Christian world view about the topic. They are not buying the propaganda that the left is putting out there. That is why they are so successful and why they are constantly attacked by the so-called, "main-stream" media. Everyone that I talk to that expresses "hate" for Beck or O'Reilly have never even watched them. So doesn't that make you wonder where that opinion comes from? Yep. Follower.

My point in bringing all this up is that the tea party movement should be all the business of enacting a strategy of truth telling as a "next step." Up to now, we have depended on think tanks and conservative news outlet like Fox to do the work for us. But now its time to step things up a notch. With the creation of tools such as blogs and twitter, we can bring education, not propaganda; information, not disinformation to the masses if we are going to win the war against collectivism. We need to promote true history, and I am talking about our Christian roots in the founding father's thinking. There is no denying their Christian world view. That same world view creates freedom, opportunity and creativity for jobs, businesses and prosperity for all. It is what makes our nation unique in the world. No other nation is capable of creating like America and that is because of our God-given freedom of spirit and our relationship with our creator. Islam commands its servants to die for Allah, our God died for us. Easy to see why life is precious to us, its precious to our God.

If your particular brand of religion is not based upon freedom, then you are doomed to be a follower and not a nation of leaders. America is a nation of leaders. Our leader should be a product of our society which in turn is based upon Judeao/Christian principles. This is why Obama is such an enigma and difficult to know. That's actually "good." We should not, as Christians intimately "know" Obama as a product of our society. Because he is not. Read his book or better yet, Dinesh D'Souza's book, "The Roots of Obama's Rage," to really get this.

It wasn't until I had studied the bible consistently and started following the principles of a relationship with my creator that I began to truly understand the framers of the constitution. Once an individual relationship with the creator is understood, it is less and less of a struggle to understand why pro-life is the right course and why collective control of society is evil. Individuality that is lost is not easily recaptured.

Let's fight the good fight.

Out of Retirement to Join the Good Fight

Ok, I'm here to give this blogging thing a go. Not sure how long, not sure if this is how I want to make my contribution. Not used to being out in the open expressing my opinion. I've always preferred the back-ground (more on my service during the Reagan years later). But I've reached a place in my life where I have to see what I can do to make a difference. My kids are pretty much on their own (except for my son but it won't be too long for him) and now I can re-join the fight.

What fight is that you might ask? Why the good fight of faith. As you may have surmised from my catchy title, I am from Colorado, I have a Christian World View (you wouldn't much care for the old view that I discarded in 1978) and I believe I have a contribution to make.

This blog will evolve as I become more comfortable with the idea and even put some dollars into it. But for now, I have to see if this is for me. I have a lot of experience in weeding out evil and exposing it (again, more on that later) so let's just see where we go shall we?

My Country Is Being Dismantled

I can no longer sit by and watch. I voted for all the right people (in my humble opinion) but I am seeing ignorance of the truth taking over. And not just secularists (I always knew they were ignorant) but now I see a new generation of Christians being led like sheep to the slaughter. The road to slavery and tyranny is paved with good intentions, then it just gets plain violent and nasty for everyone.

A Little About Me

I am what you can call a conservative if you must call me or label me something. But more than that I am a transformed person. You see, I was once like a lot of the young people that socialists and progressives prey upon...yes, that's right: A useful idiot. Now you probably know that I did not come up with that phrase. The once great Vladimir Lenin himself used that label to describe someone who blindly and ignorantly moves along the same ideological lines as a totalitarian idea but just hasn't yet  transitioned into the killing machine that these sorts of regimes develop into. And so in my little world of la la land, I voted for Jimmy Carter, not once but twice, I copied and imitated whatever the liberal behavior the media taught me and I smoked, ate and drank every mind-numbing brain sloshing substance all in the name of a good time. That is until someone spoiled (saved me from) my little party. I may write about that but not today.

In 1978 towards the tail end of President Jimmy Carter's administration I was in the U.S. Navy, attached to the Defense Intelligence Agency. I was just a clerk, but actually I was a little more than that. I paid attention to those I served. I worked in the security dossier department for a year then was hand-picked and transferred to the Office of the Director, Defense Intelligence as the director's driver and administrative assistant to his team in the Pentagon.

I served in that capacity until Reagan came to office and then my life changed. I started listening to Ronnie. I compared what we were doing (discovering the truth) and switched political parties. I joined the great communicator in the fight against liberalism (something I did everyday in my post). After a time, I asked to be transferred to another department within DIA. I liked the director, we hit it off fine. But I wanted to sink my teeth into some real intelligence. So I was offered any post I wanted within the agency (within my rank, of course). What I drew was a spot as an intelligence specialist for the Soviet/Warsaw Pact, Military/Political Affairs, Internal-External division at Arlington Hall Station in northern Virginia. Bingo. The education there beat any 4 year college education by a long shot. My mentors were all intellectual analysts with years of experience in rooting out communist and socialist evil and exposing it. They taught me well. I guess that's why its hard to express myself out in an open blog. Its just not part of my experience. Well enough about me.

Let me stop here and say something about -

Dinesh D'Souza

I believe more than anyone else, Mr. D'Souza has figured out President Obama. He is so humble that he doesn't even take credit for it. He says Obama himself was the first to discover it. What a guy. Dinesh paid attention to what Obama was saying in his book prior to becoming president (every candidate writes one). No one I knew wanted to read Obama's stupid book. I thought it was probably rubbish. I don't like to read rubbish. And I don't like Obama. He doesn't deserve what the stupid electorate handed to him. He is unworthy of such honor. With me, it has become personal. He is a fool. A demented fool. I am out to expose and destroy his legacy. For no other reason than that he is a traitor to the U.S. Constitution. The very document he swore to uphold. He is a liar and deceiver. And that is because he is himself believing a lie and is self-deceived. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't want a hair on his head to be harmed. I want him to live a long, healthy life with his grandchildren. I just want him to be exposed for what he is and what the progressive movement in America almost let him do to our country. I don't want our history books to portray him as anything else but the fool who almost destroyed America.

So That's Why I'm Writing

I'll be sharing tidbits of intelligence, conservative and Christian ideas. For those of you who don't know it, Christ is the original founder of the modern conservative movement, including our founding father's source of inspiration. I don't need to debate that. Its a fact.

Be honest, be truthful and be free!

What "Tax the Rich" Really Means To Americans

I remember Bill O’Reilly’s interview with then candidate, Barak Obama in 2008. Obama said to Bill, “you and I make enough money, don’t you think we should pay our fair share?” To which Bill agreed, “sure I do.” Buzz! Wrong answer! The reason it is the wrong answer is because he was played into Obama’s class warfare argument.

Obama then went on to gain Bill's agreement that Americans making more than $250,000 should pay more. Bill agreed. But wait a minute! This argument has been going on for decades and is really cloaked in class warfare.

Think “Middle class” and you think working American.

Think “Rich” and do you think “employer?” Probably not. See what I mean when I say, class warfare argument? It's what the Russian revolution was all about. Its what progressives, anti-colonials and social democrats are all about. In 1979 it's what a general in the Pentagon said to a young enlisted man (me) when explaining what he saw as a coming domestic conflict in our country. The constant struggle between the "haves" and "have-nots."

I think we can all agree that when the word, “rich” is used to describe class it doesn’t exactly paint a picture of people who pay their fair share of taxes. The rich not paying their fair share goes against our sense of fairness and injustice. Aren't all Americans to pay an equal share? Not in our constitution. This is a fundamental difference between conservatives and progressives (progressing into the stone age). On the surface it appears to be an injustice to think of a "class" of people who don't pay their fair share. My sharecropper grandmother believed it. My high school educated secretary mother believed it and most of my Latin uncles, aunts and cousins believe it.

But whoa. Back up. Wait a minute. The answer to the Dem argument is skated around as conservatives try to counter it but never truly address it. I think John Stossel comes closest because he always qualifies his response with, “who do you think hires all the working people?”

Let’s simplify things a bit. Because the Dems are mindless followers for the most part (I know, because I used to be one and voted twice for Jimmy Carter).

Let’s educate people a little. Even Barack.

Here’s what Bill O’Reilly and hundreds of other pundits should be saying,

“You mean tax EMPLOYERS? Because that is who the rich are! So you, Mr. Democrat, (blind follower of hate for what you do not understand) are saying we should take more from EMPLOYERS?”

"No! I think they already pay their fair share in corporate taxes, employee taxes, capital gains taxes, property taxes and when they die, estate taxes." So no, no and no, I think they pay their share and besides, who are you to judge that they don't pay enough? Is that really your call? Isn't freedom at stake when you make that claim?" That isn't in our constitution you know. Or do you? Maybe you should read it. Aren't you punishing people for being clever and working hard to reach that top 2%? Of course you are. If you say you aren't, I think it's just hubris.

Let's stop referring to the top 2% of income earners as rich and call them what they truly are: employers.
